‘Javier’ is a bushy sage about 65cm tall, with small bright green leaves that smell lovely when brushed. Purple flowers open from near-black buds from late spring into autumn, and pollinators love them.
It prefers a warm, sheltered, sunny spot in free-draining soil that isn’t too rich. It’s hardy in most of the UK and copes with dry spells.
