Weigela is a trouble-free deciduous shrub with arching stems, eventually reaching around 1.5–2.5m tall and wide. As late spring turns into early summer they fill with trumpet-shaped flowers, usually in shades of pink, red or white, and bees adore them.
It’s happy in sun or part shade, grows in most well-drained soils and is fully hardy, so it rarely needs any fuss.
